Youth Workshop

On 22–23 September, the Aydın Doğan Foundation, in collaboration with UNICEF, hosted a Youth Workshop at the Doğan Holding headquarters. The event brought together 48 high school and university students.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in a series of training sessions and interactive workshops focused on volunteering and the empowerment of girls in Türkiye and around the world.

Drawing on their own perspectives and needs, the young participants evaluated volunteer activities carried out within civil society and developed a guide addressed to civil society organizations (CSOs). The guide offers practical recommendations on:

 • Structuring and strengthening the volunteer–CSO relationship to foster mutual learning and development

 • Enhancing the visibility and sustainability of volunteer contributions within civil society initiatives

This valuable resource, prepared by a group of dedicated young volunteers active in the civil society field, presents comprehensive insights and forward-looking recommendations for organizations working with youth volunteers.
