To strengthen the connection between alumni who previously received scholarships from the Aydın Doğan Foundation and current scholarship students, the digital Young Leaders Community was created. The community is designed as an inclusive meeting space where young women can draw strength from one another and share their knowledge, experiences and stories. Built around solidarity, inspiration and peer support, it also offers mentorship, volunteer opportunities and joint project development aimed at supporting members’ academic, social and professional growth. The Young Leaders Community was officially launched on 22 May 2025 during a special event attended by alumni scholarship recipients. Today, the platform brings together 1,241 active members and continues to grow and evolve.
Within the community, members can access inspiring content from accomplished women in their fields, connect with mentors through an established network, and find information and resources to support their career paths and personal development. At the same time, the platform provides a supportive environment where members can share their experiences, ask questions, seek support when needed, and offer support to others.
The Young Leaders Community serves as a digital meeting point. Through this platform, the long-standing communication with our scholarship students has been moved to a more sustainable, inclusive and interactive environment. With the contributions, questions and areas of interest of our students, the platform continues to grow richer every day.
Within the Young Leaders Community—where girls and young women actively participate—various activities are offered to strengthen engagement among members. In line with the requests received, several interaction spaces and content areas have been introduced. Online trainings on different topics continue to be organized in response to students’ interests and needs, while live chats and inspiring gatherings are also held. Following strong demand from students, a Book Circle Club was established. The club organizes online discussions each month based on a book selected collectively by the students. The platform also features videos in which role model women share their experiences. All of these activities are shaped with input from young women themselves.
