Aydın Doğan Foundation hosts future leaders at summer camp in Kuşadası

The Summer Camp for Young Leaders, traditionally organized by Aydın Doğan Foundation since 2017, takes place in Kuşadası between 30^th July and 5^th August this year. As candidates for becoming leaders of the future, young girls participate in leadership, project development, and personal development trainings, enjoying a pleasant time through art workshops and sports activities.

This year Aydın Doğan Foundation is organizing its traditional 'Summer Camp for Young Leaders', which offers school-age girls, as candidates for becoming future leaders, the opportunity to participate in educational programs and activities, between 30^th July and 5^th August in Kuşadası, the popular tourism town of Aydın.

Aydın Doğan Foundation, which carries out projects supporting women's greater participation in the workforce, under the motto 'Empowered Girls, Empowered Tomorrows', has been organizing the summer camp regularly since the summer of 2017, achieving a participation of over 200 students in its seventh year. This year, 22 students from 16 provinces of different regions of Türkiye, from Balıkesir to Gaziantep, Muğla to Adana, and Izmit to Erzurum, are attending the camp.

Personal development opportunity through workshops

Future female role models and self-confident leader candidates meet every year at the Summer Camp for Young Leaders organized by the Aydın Doğan Foundation. During the camp, students start the day doing physical exercises and take place in training and workshops organized under the topics of Leadership, Project Development, and Personal Development. During the day students attend a training on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and receive seminars on CV preparation, interview, and presentation techniques, and effective communication from experts in their fields. Students who attend the summer camp develop projects that will create social benefits as the outcome of all these trainings. Aydın Doğan Foundation continues to support students to implement the projects they develop at the end of the Summer Camp for Young Leaders.

Students who have a fun time participating in different art activities at the end of the daily program every evening, will complete the camp with beautiful memories including trips to Ephesus Ancient City and Şirince this year.
