Daddy Send Me to School Campaign

There are no limits to what girls can achieve when they have access to good education and opportunities.

Daddy Send Me to School Campaign started on April 23rd, 2005, in cooperation between Doğan Publishing and Contemporary Life Support Foundation; with the mission of providing equal educational opportunities for every girl in every part of Turkey.

The campaign, which was implemented under the thought leadership of our Foundation's Chairperson of the Board of Directors Hanzade Doğan Boyner, has supported many girls to grow up to become well-equipped and productive individuals.

The original objective of the Daddy Send Me to School Campaign is the spreading of education opportunities across Turkey and for every girl to be able to go to school. It has been designed and carried out as a three-legged project including financial support, developing social awareness, and eliminating structural problems.

It has become one of the biggest social responsibility projects in Turkey with over 300 thousand supporters and 35 million Turkish Liras spent on the education of girls and the awards it has received for the work done.

In this journey we started by building 5 girl dormitories as a foundation and giving scholarships to girls, we continue our work by saying “empowered girls, empowered future”.
