Arif Sağ

Based on the mission of the Aydın Doğan Foundation to move society forward, bring it to a modern level, and support education for this, the Aydın Doğan Award, this year is given to the artist Arif Sağ, who continued his unique searches in the field of Turkish Folk Music and baglama (a Turkish Folk Music instrument) and has made serious contributions to the introduction of Anatolian music to the world, helped raise new generations with his educational studies, and created a school in baglama.
