Senem BAŞYURT

Senem Başyurt is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience across diverse sectors. She began her career in finance and consulting, holding senior roles at HSBC between 1998 and 2005 and at EY between 2007 and 2017, where she took on significant responsibilities in corporate finance, operations management, and transformation projects.

In the field of civil society, she served as Secretary General of the Darüşşafaka Society from 2017 to 2021 and as General Manager of the Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV) from 2021 to 2025, leading the strategic development and institutional structuring of these well-established organizations.

Başyurt holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and completed her master’s degree in banking at the University of Exeter in 1994–1995. She is fluent in English.
