Sanem BAŞYURT

Sanem Başyurt is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience across diverse industries. She began her career in finance and consulting and held senior leadership roles at HSBC between 1998 and 2005, and at EY between 2007 and 2017. Throughout her career, she has taken on significant responsibilities in corporate finance, operations management, and transformation projects.

In the non-profit sector, she served as Secretary General of the Darüşşafaka Society from 2017 to 2021, and as Chief Executive Officer of the Mother Child Education Foundation from 2021 to 2025. In these roles, she led the strategic development and organizational transformation of well-established institutions.

Ms. Başyurt holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University and completed her master’s degree in Banking at the University of Exeter between 1994 and 1995. She is fluent in English.
