Ahmet
TOKSOY

Born in Istanbul in 1959, Ahmet Toksoy graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Finance in 1981. After working as a Tax Inspector at the Ministry of Finance between 1984 and 1989, he started to work at Hürriyet Holding as a Member of the Inspection Board. He served as Assistant Financial Affairs Manager between 1990-1991 and as Financial Affairs Manager between 1991-1995 at Hürriyet Newspaper. Later, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Aktif Denetim Certified Public Accountant Company for three years.

He held the position of Hürriyet Newspaper Head of Financial Affairs for 11 years after he took the role in 1998, and then, in the early 2010s, he became the Head of Audit and Risk Management of Doğan Holding. During this period, he served as a Board Member and Chairman of various companies of the group. Ahmet Toksoy, also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors Hürriyet Publishing Inc.

Ahmet Toksoy left his roles as Head of Financial Affairs which he started in 2011 and Executive Committee Board Member position at Doğan Holding Companies as of the end of July 2019.

Ahmet Toksoy, in March 2019, was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of Doğan Holding Companies.

Toksoy is married and has one child.
