Since 2000, Turkey has made significant progress in girls’ access to education, and gender equality in the education system. On the other hand, a series of steps must be taken in the post-2015 period to offer girls equal opportunities and ensure gender equality in all of aspects of the education system. The purpose of this report is to offer an analytical perspective to the efforts of the Doğan Group, within the general framework of steps undertaken or planned for girls’ education in Turkey. How did the “Daddy, Send Me to School” campaign contribute to the steps taken since the year 2000? What kind of effects did “Daddy, Send Me to School” have on its beneficiaries? Which projects will be at the center of the post-2015 projects to support the education of girls? In this document, these questions will be explored in light of numerous studies carried out as part of monitoring and assessment activities of “Daddy, Send Me to School” campaign.
